Because no official Jackson County bed count was retrieved, capacity should not be guessed. Visiting Jackson County Jail
Jackson County Jail visitation is video only through Prodigy. The sheriff page says no in-person visitation is available. Visitors must create a Prodigy account, verify identity, upload a driver's license copy and profile picture, and deposit funds to a prepaid or PIN-debit account. When a video call comes in, the visitor receives an SMS link from Prodigy.

Booking at Jackson County Jail
A Jackson County Jail booking creates the public fields seen in the roster. Staff verify identity, enter or update the InmateID, assign a BookingID and BookingNum, record booking date and time, attach a photo when available, enter charge text, and apply classification. The sample profile inspected in the research showed Medium Security as the classification value.
Bond and court details may require separate checks. The sheriff bondsmen page says bonds that are not completed or notarized properly will not be accepted, approved, or filed by the court clerk's office, and it stresses that bondsmen are responsible for correct paperwork. Jackson County Jail Records Requests
The sheriff Records Division maintains office records and handles open-records requests. The official records page says in-person records requests are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Crime victims are entitled to one free copy of their incident report when they appear in person with acceptable identity verification. Additional copies may have established fees. Some reports can be emailed, while some require a subpoena.
Use the records route when a person is no longer on the current roster, when a booking photo is missing, or when a historical booking record is needed. About Jackson County Jail
Sheriff Stacy Randolph's official biography gives the strongest local jail-history detail. Randolph began with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office as a night-shift jailer in May 2002. During construction of the newer Jackson County Jail, he processed the first inmates housed there and helped develop many jail policies still in place. He later served as Jail Administrator for five years, then undersheriff, before becoming sheriff.
State oversight comes through the Oklahoma State Department of Health jail program. Under the Oklahoma Jail Standards Act, OSDH develops detention standards and must inspect city and county detention facilities at least annually. The standards cover admission and release, security, sanitation, diet, clothing and living area, training, safety and segregation, medical care, 24-hour supervision, emergency exits, rules education, and holding facilities.
