Official Offices and Lookup Routes

For Jackson County jail questions, start with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Jackson County Jail / Jackson County Justice Center. Sheriff Stacy Randolph's office lists the public jail and sheriff address as 600 S Main St., Altus, OK 73521. The main line is (580) 482-0408, the fax is (580) 482-2505, administrative hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM-4 PM, and in-person Records Division requests are handled Monday-Friday 9 AM-3 PM. The Records Division handles open-records requests under the Oklahoma Open Records Act, 51 O.S. 24A.1 et seq., including law-enforcement records addressed by 51 O.S. 24A.8. Victims can receive one free incident report copy with acceptable ID, while some reports can be emailed and some require a subpoena.

  • For a person currently booked in the county jail, use jail inmate records and then call the sheriff line if the roster does not answer an urgent custody question.
  • For booking photos shown on the current roster, use jail roster mugshots; older or absent photos may require a Records Division request.
  • For filed charges, hearings, and case numbers after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest, then check ODCR or OSCN for Jackson County District Court records.
  • For the local detention facility, use the Jackson County Jail page for the address, phone, mail, visitation, and records context.
  • For a sentenced Oklahoma prisoner, search the Oklahoma Department of Corrections offender lookup instead of the county roster.
  • For released or transferred custody status, use Oklahoma VINE; for federal sentenced custody use the BOP inmate locator, and for immigration custody use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
